Precision machining

CNC-milled and turned components made to your drawings. Define materials, tolerances, surface finish and volumes before supplier selection.

Overview

How we source precision machining.

Machined parts are only as good as the drawing, the setup and the inspection behind them. We start with your drawing and revision, then match the job to machine shops whose equipment, tolerance capability and batch sizes suit it.

India has a deep base of CNC machining suppliers serving automotive, pump, valve and general engineering customers — particularly around Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Rajkot. Our role is to find the right one for your part, agree the terms and stay involved until the parts are delivered.

Getting a useful quote

What to include in your RFQ.

The more complete the brief, the more accurate the quotation. Missing something? Send what you have and we will help fill the gaps.

  • 2D drawings (PDF) with tolerances and revision, plus 3D models (STEP) where available
  • Material grade and any certification requirement (e.g. EN 10204 3.1)
  • Surface finish, coating or plating specification
  • Batch size, annual volume and call-off pattern
  • Critical-to-quality dimensions and inspection expectations
  • Delivery destination and target date

Quality

Checkpoints agreed before production starts.

  • First-article inspection against the drawing before batch release
  • Material test certificates checked against the specified grade
  • Dimensional reports on agreed critical dimensions
  • Pre-shipment inspection of finish, marking and packing

Inspection scope is agreed per project and can include independent third-party inspection where required.

FAQ

Common questions.

What tolerances can Indian machine shops hold?

It depends on the supplier, equipment and part. Many shops routinely work to general engineering tolerances, and specialist suppliers work much tighter. We assess tolerance capability for your specific drawing before recommending a supplier, rather than making a blanket claim.

Can you handle low volumes and prototypes?

Yes, where it makes commercial sense. For very small quantities, freight and setup costs can outweigh unit-price savings. We will tell you if that is likely to be the case.
