Timber, joinery & furniture

Timber components, joinery and finished furniture. Species, grade, moisture content, finish and destination requirements form part of the sourcing brief.

Overview

How we source timber, joinery & furniture.

Wood products are sensitive to species, drying and destination climate. A piece that looks right in the workshop can move, crack or fail inspection when it arrives. We put these requirements into the brief from the start.

India has long-established furniture and woodworking centres, including Jodhpur, Saharanpur and Hoshiarpur. We match your product to makers with the right equipment and finishing capability, and agree moisture, finish and packing standards before production.

FAQ

Common questions.

How do you manage timber legality requirements?

We ask suppliers for the documentation needed for your market and certification scheme and check it before shipment. Requirements differ between markets, so tell us where the goods are going.

Can products be designed for flat-pack shipping?

Yes. Flat-pack or knock-down construction can reduce freight cost significantly. We discuss this with suppliers at quotation stage.
